Deanna Zeek

Deanna has been involved.in fitness since she was.little.taking dance classes to team sports.  She worked at the Ymca in high school as a lifeguard and swim Instructor and learned to understand the health industry more.  Attending Flagler college she graduated with a bachelors of arts in psychology and became certified as a personal trainer. She continues educating her self with a fitness nutrition cert, and now she is a 200 hour registered Yoga Instructor.  My specialty is weight loss and learning the over all balance of a healthy lifestyle! She has been a trainer in Jacksonville for six years.

Melissa Rice

 I have been personal training for 10 years certified through the NSCA.  I have my B.S. in Exercise Science and work with a lot of post-rehab clients from back, knee,  and shoulder injuries to stroke victims.  I have also done a lot  of strength and conditioning coaching from  the club Olympic Weight Lifting team, Episcopal girls and boys weightlifting team, and the JJVA girls volleyball club teams.  I have trained and competed in woman’s bodybuilding in 2007 and 2009 and love the way the body works. I know the struggles and frustrations of loosing weight especially with a thyroid problem myself. I love to motivate and help people make a lifestyle change to help reach their personal goals.  You have to have all three pieces of the “puzzle” to make your body look the way you want it to; 1.Weights, 2. Cardio, 3. Nutrition.  If you are missing a piece of the puzzle it is not complete.

Dan Baxter

Training philosophy:  Sacrifice or regret… You choose… Physical fitness is the freedom from illness, disease, infection, and shock, with the ability to perform recreational and vocational tasks, without risk of injury and undue fatigue. We are only given one body and I believe we should do all that we can to take care of it with exercise and nutrition.

Training interest:  General health and fitness, speed development, muscle toning, weight loss, core strength and stability, and golf specific muscle development.

Health and fitness experience:  Certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor and nutrition specialist through Vital Force International. PGA golf professional.

Personal goals: My main goal as a personal trainer is to let people know how important it is to take care of the bodies that God gave us.

Mike Murphy

I am an ACE nationally certified personal trainer with three and a
half years of training experience.  More importantly I have been
living a fitness lifestyle for the past nine years.  That’s what it
really takes to reach your fitness goals, lifestyle changes, and
that’s what i focus on with my clients.  Besides just training I help
my clients find a diet that works for them and also help them figure
out how to fit adequate exercise into their busy schedules.  I have a
passion for helping others improve thier lives and I always look
forward to achieving success with new clients!

Virginia Hughes


Virginia Hughes is locally known for being able to work with a variety of clientele. She is currently certified through ISSA and ACE. Virginia is also an instructor of at Heritage Institute for personal training. Having worked with youth and to the elderly, she is always able to create an effective program and an enjoyable experience.
